British food has come such a long way in the last decade; when GBF first launched in 2008 our homegrown produce was only just starting to get the kudos it deserved. But fast forward over a decade later, who could have predicted we'd be producing everything from world-class sparkling wines (see our top tipples for spring) to some truly stunning charcuterie? The world of British salami and chorizo is a particularly inspiring tale – skilful producers are taking inspiration from abroad, but putting their unique spin on recipes with foraged ingredients and rare breed meats.
