This year’s Pride In London was the biggest yet, with an estimated 950,000 people taking part in the celebrations. DIVA was lucky enough to march with Stonewall (and Jack Monroe!) in their first Pride since becoming inclusive of trans people, and the response from those lining the route from Baker Street to Whitehall was incredible. While the debate over whether Pride in the capital has become too commercial rages on, the day was largely peaceful, and we’re thankful that we can march in safety, unlike our brothers and sisters in Istanbul and beyond. As well as the parade, and Sunday’s massive celebration for QTPOC, UK Black Pride, there was also Picnic in the Park and a cool party at Pride East. Judging by the pictures, a great time was had by all.
