Hello - and thank you for reading my first issue of Classic and Vintage Commercials as Editor. This is a fantastic magazine, and I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into my new job. Though this is my first CVC as Editor, the magazine is very familiar to me as I’ve been an Editor with Kelsey Publishing since 1995, heading up Car Mechanics, Classic Car Weekly and Classic Car Buyer. I also worked with Kelsey Publishing’s founder Gordon Wright on CVC’s launch, and was its Publisher for the first ten years. Since then, the magazine has gone from strength to strength. Much of that is, of course, down to the hard work and dedication of Ted Connolly, my predecessor. Ted has done a superb
job during his six years in the driver’s seat, and has also been a massive help to me during the handover. Happily, Ted will still be involved as a much-valued special contributor.
