AUSTRALIA’S NEW South Wales Ambulance Fixed Wing Aeromedical Operations has inducted its first Pilatus PC-24 into service, the manufacturer reported on February 8.
The NSW Ambulance Service announced the order for two PC-24 aircraft in 2021, which will be used to provide aeromedical services throughout the state, covering an area of 800,000sq km (308,882sq miles).
The service anticipates operating around 800 flights and transporting approximately 6,500 patients during its first year.
