Plus: the organiser of Hornsea Carnival appeals to businesses and residents for sponsorship and donations to ensure this summer's event goes ahead; and a new partnership has been launched between the council and Hornsea Freeport to alleviate coach parking problems in the town.

The Withernsea Carnival's new Royal Family prepares for its centenary event this summer; winners at the Roos Show, which celebrated its 70th anniversary; and broadband poles campaigners say they are 'delighted' after their petition hit the 10,000 milestone.
