We welcome as guest-editors the team from Powys Living Well Service who share with us how they support people to live well with pain. They explain why the bio-psycho-social approach works best for pain. This recognises that persistent pain affects you in several ways, your physical body (bio), your thoughts and feelings (psycho) and how you connect with your loved ones and the wider world (social). They offer the reader plenty of everyday strategies to improve life with pain.

In Wales there is a new plan to help people with persistent pain live the lives they want to live. The National Clinical Leads for Persistent Pain introduce us to the work they are leading.
