2023 Panini Obsidian Football is one of the season’s more colorful sets. It’s also one of the darkest. The chromium brand returns with a new mix of autographs, inserts, memorabilia cards and more.
Hobby boxes deliver four total hits, two of which are autographs. The theme of the base set is black. Players are isolated when it comes to their photos leaving for minimalist backgrounds. There’s more going on with the borders, though.
This opens up things to Obsidian’s many parallels. Falling under the Electric Etch banner, these lines are filled with such colors as Purple, Green, Yellow, Red, Tri-Color Mojo and Blue Finite.
