Woodworking Crafts Magazine  |  Autumn 2018
In our Autumn issue we have a variety of interesting and useful articles. Our major project is a deceptively simple and stylish Japanese style oak bench. Marquetarian Quentin Smith introduces us to the naval version of ‘snakes and ladders' and Jamie Lake makes a very useful box seat. We look at jointing machines to make project building easier and the essential framing bed for making outdoor timber structures. Our feature is all about the restoration of our iconic British naval flag ship HMS Victory. The custom built Editor’s Toolbox is coming on in Part II and Gary Marshall discusses recycling timber in Woodland Ways. A vintage Lloyd Loom box stool gets restored and we learn about the history of Lloyd Loom, we also have a project to build a lathe stand. There is so much more but you will have to buy the magazine to discover it all!
