The Knitter  |  Issue 125
Lace and colour are the themes of our latest collection of projects, and our designers have used pretty stitch patterns and motifs in the softest yarns to create light layers to wear this summer. Soft and textured cardigans include Siân Brown’s pretty lace and colourwork design, and a dramatic intarsia cardigan by Martin Storey. Eye-catching lace appears on Bronagh Miskelly's wrap, while cheerful Fair Isle decorates Pat Menchini's tank top for men. We also celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Knitting & Crochet Guild in our special supplement, with a classic shawl pattern from Sasha Kagan, and we explore Felicity Ford’s inspirational approach to colourwork design.
