WILDEBAR: PAPER PANZER PRODUCTIONS E-75 CONVERSION
The ‘Entwicklung’ series (transl. ‘development’), more commonly referred to as ‘E-Series’, was a late-war attempt to produce a standardised series of tank designs. There were to be standard designs in six different weight classes (E-5, E-10, E-25, E-50, E-75 and E-100), from which several specialised variants would be developed. The Jagd E-75 followed the concept of the Sturmtiger, The Jagd E-50/E-75 followed the idea of the Jagdpanzer and Sturmtiger, where a standard chassis could be taken of the production chain and have the superstructure bolted on. A heavily armoured frontplate with additional protection where hull and superstructure meet would have provided a hard to penetrate front. Combined with the deadly 8.8cm gun and state-of-theart optics, the Jagd E-50/E-75 ‘Eber’ would have been a tough nut to crack.
