Nick Skelton tells H&H: "I always knew Big Star could do this". HE’S been sent more than six hundred text messages, has lost track of the number of “Skelfies” he’s appeared in and he had rather a headache on Monday. But although Nick Skelton said his appearance on the front of most of the
national newspapers was “an age thing they make the most of some old fart winning something” he added that winning his medal, the first-ever individual Olympic showjumping gold for Britain, was “amazing”. “I’ve finally taken it off!” he told H&H on Monday, after a night spent celebrating with his family.
