Teddy Bear Times  |  Issue 265
I’ve been helping family members move into a new home recently. It is quite a mission isn’t it? Lots of sorting out of cupboards, not to mention the boxes stored within them, deciding what to keep and what you can do without. (Of course, we could never do without our bears and furry friends!). Everything is carefully packed into boxes, taken to the new home and then unpacked. I spent a day moving boxes from the hired van, into one room, then another room, or upstairs to another room again. My muscles and joints really felt it the next day, I can tell you!
Over at the Bear Hospital, Dot Bird has a patient who has a problem with his joints too (I wonder if she can recommend anything for me…?) Although you might not have a bear in need of repair, it is always interesting to read how Dot saves these lovely old bruins and gives an insight into how we might prevent these things happening to our own furry friends.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and Lorraine, of Ginos Bears, just loves a bear in disrepair; she introduces us to her worn but lovely pal Denzil.
If you prefer more modern creations, don’t worry - we have plenty of artist bears and critters too, including the more traditional in style and others born from a creative imagination. Something for everyone!
I hope you enjoy this issue, whether you are soaking up the sun or snuggling under the covers to keep warm.
Till next time
