Diesel&EcoCar Magazine

June 2024 The electric MINI Aceman takes pride of place on the front cover of the June 2024 issue of Diesel&EcoCar magazine and is amongst good company, as it’s a bumper month for new model debuts. The new Citroën C3 Aircross and Vauxhall Grandland are revealed, alongside the Mazda CX-80, facelifted Nissan Qashqai, mildly revised Mercedes-Benz EQS and hybrid-powered Renault Symbioz. We also feature the reprofiled Cupra Leon and Formentor, the smart #5 concept car, Mercedes-Benz G 580 with EQ power and Tesla Model 3 Performance. This month’s twin test sees the BYD Seal challenge the Volkswagen ID.7 in an electric executive car showdown. We’ve also got first tests of the Audi A3 diesel, Toyota C-HR, Skoda Enyaq Coupé, Mercedes-Benz EQA, Range Rover Velar diesel and the Volkswagen Touareg R. There’s a comprehensive and geeky A-to-Z guide on oils, lubricants and additives, and this month’s used car buyer’s guide is all about the Subaru Forester 2.0D. Meanwhile, in Generation Game we examine three different generations of the Volvo XC90. All of your favourite columns and features are present and correct, including The Doctor, Motor Grump, Bright Spark, Tech Zone, Road Watch and Current Affairs. We’ve got a selection of products inspected by our resident Gadget Inspector and there’s a handy What’s On guide, so you know what shows and events are happening in your area with a motoring flavour.

diesel, green cars, electric mag

The UK’s leading magazine for diesel, green cars, electric, hybrids and alternative fuelled vehicles, full of advice on tech, mechanics, future plans. great photos inspiring reviews Reviewed 21 August 2022

I like the way it has evolved over the years

I have been buying it in print and online since the early 2000s and I like that it always has focused on the economy end of motoring, or us cheapskates if you like. It has moved to covering hybrids and electric cars which is good, and hasn't forgotten its roots - diesels.

It's a friendly, down to early mag and Doctor Diesel is still the best bit.
