Organists' Review  |  September 2016
Andrew Scott writes the lead article about the change of pitch at Peterborough Cathedral before Andrew McCrea discusses the changes in qualifications happening at the Royal College of Organists. Cambridge and Oxford then unite to write about the application process of becoming an organ scholar; I am expecting letters saying this isn’t relevant to all our readership, but it may inspire you to talk to younger players who had not considered taking this route. We then remain in Cambridge to look at the 40th anniversary celebrations of the organ in Trinity College.
September sees an extensive review section – the panel was inundated with items. The Editor’s Choice receives five stars from Andrew Fletcher, so go out and buy it.
