Organists' Review  |  June 2016
The initial inspiration for this issue was the article written by Matthew Jennings about the Sheffield City Hall instrument. We then started to think about iconic British Town Hall instruments which explains the cover and pull-out, the Lewis housed in Kelvingrove, Glasgow. However, I then received
two international articles: James Lloyd Thomas sent in an article about the instruments in his new home country of Hong Kong; and David Briggs sent an article about his travels.
Back in the UK, Peter King returns for the final time to talk about the IAO Festival in Bath. I am probably preaching to the converted, but this Festival looks truly exciting, day tickets are being advertised in this issue, so if you can’t make the full week, see if you can make the time to pop in for a day or two.
