Jack The Lad Magazine Issue 06 - Summer/Autumn 2016 Back Issue

English
19 Reviews   •  English   •   Men's Interest (Gay)
Only £4.99
Jacks The Lad is back for the summer, and looking better than ever, especially as it's also our biggest edition so far! There's 130 pages packed with the sort of stunning photography, cool conversations and compelling art that makes this the most unmissable magazine for gay and bisexual men everywhere.

This months Cover model is Sam Darren, seen here in his modelling debut for photographer Simon J. Webb. You won't want to miss the results as these guys go all retro for some stunning pictures from the locker room. Photographer Graham Martin also returns with some sensationally sensual work, sharing images old and new from a number of shoots with one of his frequent model collaborators Nejhé, seen here in print for the very first time, and including images taken exclusively for Jack The Lad.

We ask Mark Lister, (the man behind issue five's awesome photo feature with Charlie Taylor-Smith), to tell, and to show us, what it was like getting fifty fit lads soaking wet under the shower for his 'Project Soaked' calendar and book.

Gaydio Head of Music and club DJ Phil Marriott drops in for a photoshoot and a chat, dishing the dirt on a few celebrity interviews, and we enter the weird and wonderful world of musician and artist Matthew Robins as he talks us through the adventures of 'Flyboy', re-imagining Ted Hughes classic book "The Iron Man" with puppets, and why he remade Jurassic Park... with biscuits!

There's some fantastic original art from illustrator Luke Thornhill, who plunders Jack The Lads archives to inspire an exclusive new collection of work. Luke has also recently provided the cover artwork for a tribute song released by musician Chris Selman in honour of the victims of the mass shooting in Orlando, to who this issue of Jack The Lad has also been dedicated as our 'throwback' section looks back at just one of the many moving vigils that took place around the world.
