Parchment Craft  |  August 2016
Hello and welcome to the August issue of Parchment Craft. Summer’s here and it’s time to rejoice as this month the team have busy finding inspiration in their gardens to create bright and vibrant themed cards. The use of mixed colouring mediums can be seen throughout the magazine. Judith Maslen continues to amaze with her Year in the Garden series, this month she’s chosen to paint a common blue butterfly.
Also included is what can only be described as a typical Tina Cox pattern. If you’re familiar with her work, you’ll know that she’s partial to creating designs that will put a smile on the recipient’s face. This colourful doodle themed project features the most adorable pair of love birds.
It goes without saying that there’s an abundance of white worked projects for you to choose from, it wouldn’t be Parchment Craft magazine without white work; my particular favourite being Beverly Bunker’s beach themed design. If you enjoyed last month’s 3D chess set and are craving for more you’re in for a treat as the super talented Amanda Yeh shares with us her
fantastic 3D parchment bags.
