Dolls House and Miniature Scene  |  September 2016 (Iss 268)
What a busy month it’s been here at DHMS HQ!
Apart from working on this bumper issue we have had ‘secret’ meetings with your favourite contributors (more to be revealed at a later date), and we’ve been clinging onto summer with spontaneous days out to visit the seaside.
And who doesn’t love a day out at the seaside?
Speaking of which this month sees Sadie Brown complete her seafood counter project and if you’ve been following the series you’ll know that
so far we’ve seen prawn cocktail, lobsters, crabs, scallops and salmon created, and it culminates with Thai fish cakes and decorative seaweed!
And if seafood’s not your thing and you prefer strawberries, you’re in luck as we’ll show you how to knit the cutest 1/12th scale strawberry teapot cosies.
Features this month include part two of Moi Ali’s interview with Randy Hage, a miniaturist of over 35 years who creates the most amazing New
York inspired storefronts. If you missed part one, make sure you pick up a back issue, details of how you can order can be found over on page 60.
We’ve also got a fantastic competition!
We have teamed up with the Stitching, Sewing & Hobbycrafts Show to offer 15 lucky readers a chance to win a pair of tickets to this
incredible show. Details of how you can win can also be found on page 60.
