This month features special's about:

- U.S. Army UH-60Ms deploy to Europe
About 3.000 US Army soldiers and their equipment (including helicopters!)
from the Fort Stewart (GA) based 3rd Infantry Division
have deployed to Europe to conduct training exercises with Eastern
European countries. The deployment is part of the ongoing U.S. military
troop rotation under operation “Atlantic Resolve”, aimed at
bolstering support for NATO allies who are worried about escalating
aggression by Russia. Of course the show of force and the ability to
deploy such large amounts of troops and material will add to this
support.

- BAe146 and Avro RJ
Now that Swiss will start to phase out its Avro RJ’s, we thought
that it was time to publish an extensive coverage about the
most successful British civil jet-programme to date.

- SO4050 Vautour in Israeli service
Just for the fun of it, and your re-education, we decided
to start a series of short recaps of old Israeli warriors that
have faded away. The first in these series is the mighty Sud-
Ouest (SNCASO) SO4050 Vautour.

- HELI-EXPO 2015
Helicopter Association International (HAI) opened Heli-
Expo 2015, the annual three-day trade show and exposition
dedicated to vertical aviation, on 3 March at the
Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in Orlando,
USA.

- Alas Púrpura
A notable change of mind with the Colombian armed forces
and police has occurred during the past decade: combining
their experiences through joint operations. Aviation is no
exception, and, having one of the biggest and most active
military and police aviation in the continent, it is understandable
that the services would combine their knowledge
of air operations. The latest on these efforts is an exercise
named Alas Púrpura 2015 (Purple Wings) – named after the
blend of colours that emerges when combining yellow, blue
and red, the colours of Colombian flag. The exercise took
place at Palanquero air base during the third week of February
