The Taster Magazine  |  Autumn 2014
The Taster is an alternative new food & drink magazine, full of intriguing artwork and engaging, informative articles.
Our new Autumn issue looks at foraging, harvest festivals & food fairs, a scientist’s-eye view of mushrooming, menu ideas for Halloween, and a special feature on Streetfood. Plus, a great interview with a real character, Master Chef Grant Hawthorne, who’s decided to educate us Brits about proper peri peri dishes, and been kind enough to provide a recipe for South African pulled pork, along with details of this year’s British Street Food Awards. It’s all part of the new food revolution, as evidenced by the way that food & drink stalls at music festivals now seem to attract as much attention as the music (especially if you happen to be one of the civilians/foot soldiers – man cannot live by riffs alone; there comes a time when he needs a decent burger).
